On the other hand, the most fun I've had as
a PC was in a generally homebrew campaign.

I tend to despise too much detail in
campaigns, in favor of recurring elements.
A good NPC is worth so much more to me
than a "fully realized" inn. Jeff knows
full well my first question about an inn is
"Is it made of wood?" There are so few
problems that can't be solved by either a
good Evocation or an axe-wielding maniac.
I think I'll pass up the comp
